Not long ago that felt impossible. I was doing construction work in freezing temperatures — long days, heavy gear — while doing my best to hold things together as a single mom on social assistance. I was watching my boys grow up in the gaps between my exhaustion.
I wasn't looking for a business. I just wanted to stop missing everything. The hockey games. The school pickups. The ordinary days that turn into memories.
